Your security and privacy are central to how CARFOX is engineered.

1. Information We Collect

To fulfill your vehicle history report order, we collect only the necessary operational information:

The 17-character Vehicle Identification Number(s) (VINs) you request.
Your delivery email address for report dispatch and order notifications.
Payment transaction reference identifiers provided by authorized gateways.

Zero Financial Data Retention: CARFOX does NOT store, process, or have access to your credit card numbers, expiration dates, or CVV security codes. All payment entries are executed directly through PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways.

2. How Reports Are Stored & Link Expiration

Delivered PDF reports are archived in private encrypted cloud storage buckets. Access is restricted exclusively to tokenized URLs sent to your authenticated order portal and delivery email. Secure download links remain active for 30 days from purchase and are automatically revoked if an order is refunded or cancelled.
